Reality TV star and actress Bam Bam has reportedly lost her phone during the service of songs held in honour of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo.
The memorial event, which took place on Wednesday, was organised by the family of the late actor, who reportedly passed away in May after battling a prolonged illness.
Videos from the service of songs showed family members, friends, colleagues and well-wishers gathering to pay their final respects, with many attendees visibly emotional as tributes poured in for the late movie star.
However, amid the solemn atmosphere, reports emerged that Bam Bam’s phone had gone missing during the event.
A trending video circulating online captured the reality star alongside a few other guests searching for the missing device.
In the clip, one of the individuals present could be heard saying that attempts were being made to call the phone, but although it was ringing, no one was answering.
The incident quickly sparked reactions online, with many social media users expressing disbelief that a theft could allegedly occur during a memorial gathering.
A caption accompanying the viral video read:
“It’s how someone will dress from home only to come steal BamBam phone at an event like this. If you are the one, kindly return it else the anger of God upon you. Since you like events like this, it would soon become your reality except you return that phone. Amen.”
