Peter Obi Can Become President in 2031 After Tinubu – Yul Edochie

  • Actor Yul Edochie has sparked debate online after claiming Peter Obi still has a chance of becoming Nigeria’s president in 2031.
  • According to him, Obi’s popularity helped many candidates win elections in 2023, even though Obi himself lost the presidential race.

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has stirred reactions online after speaking about the political future of Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

In a trending statement, Yul claimed that Peter Obi still stands a strong chance of becoming Nigeria’s president in 2031 after President Bola Tinubu’s tenure.

According to the actor, Obi’s influence during the 2023 elections was so massive that many politicians allegedly benefited from his popularity to secure electoral victories.

“Peter Obi has chances of being Nigerian president in 2031, after Tinubu. In 2023, even Okada man used his name to win elections, everyone used Peter Obi’s name to win election but the owner of the name himself lost,” Yul Edochie said.

The statement quickly generated mixed reactions on social media, with supporters and critics sharing different opinions about Obi’s political future and Yul’s comments.

Some users agreed with the actor, insisting that Peter Obi remained one of the most influential politicians in Nigeria despite losing the presidential election.

Others, however, mocked Yul’s comments and questioned his political analysis.

One user wrote, “From what you just said, it’s obvious that Obi won the election and that the declared winner only manipulated things to claim victory.”

Another commented, “With the way Peter Obi is running from one party to another, I don’t think that man really plans to win elections anytime soon.”

A different user added, “Peter Obi will win, all what this one is saying is shenanigans.”
