Former Big Brother Naija winner, Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has reacted to ongoing discussions about her body enhancement and cosmetic surgery.
The reality star addressed the issue during a live session, where she responded to critics who have continued to question her decision to undergo the procedure.
Phyna expressed frustration over what she described as repeated and exhausting commentary about her appearance, noting that some critics appear unable to move past her transformation.
In the viral clip, she suggested that many of the negative remarks stem from people who no longer have personal attacks to use against her.
According to her, ever since she had the body enhancement, online conversations have largely focused on her looks, with some individuals alleging that she spent all her earnings on the surgery.
She, however, dismissed such claims, stressing that her decision was well thought out and planned.
“Since I do my nyash and belle, body just dey pain them because them no see wetin to use insult me again,” she said.
The Edo-born celebrity further expressed surprise at how much attention people pay to her personal life and choices.
Addressing rumours that she used all her income for the procedure, Phyna clarified that the payment was done in stages.
She explained that she began making payments as far back as February 2025 and completed them in August before the procedure timeline changed.
“My nyash na installmental payment I do. I don dey pay for this nyash since February 2025. You go first dey pay small small, then you go complete am. Na first week of August I finish payment,” she said.
Phyna also revealed that the surgery was initially scheduled for September but was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
She added that by October, she was not emotionally prepared to go ahead with it at that time.
