- Don Jazzy reveals he was called “ugly” in university, which affected his confidence.

Nigerian music executive and producer Don Jazzy has opened up about his past struggles with self-confidence, revealing how his experiences in university continue to affect him today.
In a candid statement shared online, the Mavin Records boss recalled being labelled “ugly” during his school days, a situation he said impacted his self-esteem and social interactions.
“Girls used to call me ugly in university and no one wanted to be my girlfriend 😭💔 It affected my confidence, and that’s why I’m shy and struggle to speak in public till today…it’s also why I find it hard to believe when a woman tells me she truly loves me 🥹,” he said.
According to him, the emotional effects of those experiences have lingered over the years, influencing his personality and making it difficult for him to fully accept expressions of love.
