The renowned Nigerian wrestler, Odunayo Adekuoroye, along with her spouse, Oladimeji Iyanda, has celebrated the birth of their first child together.
The three-time Commonwealth champion shared the news of her new arrival on Instagram, where she posted a collection of images documenting her pregnancy journey.
In her caption, Adekuoroye conveyed her thankfulness to God for their newborn. While she did not disclose the birth date or the gender of the child, the wrestler requested prayers as she and her husband embark on the journey of parenthood.
Adekuoroye, 31, and Iyanda got married in 2022.
“Dear friends and fans, with immense joy, your favorite champion is thrilled to announce that I’ve embarked on the beautiful journey of motherhood. Our precious baby made a grand and royal arrival filling our hearts with boundless love and joy,” she wrote.
“Embracing this new role has been a profound experience, and I’m deeply grateful for the overwhelming divine support. We are grateful to GOD for the bundle of joy. As we navigate this cherished chapter, please keep us in your thoughts and share in our happiness.”
