Nigerian lady sacked from her UK job after telling boss ‘I’m Sorry’

A Nigerian woman has revealed how her UK employer dismissed her after she repeatedly apologised to him for an offence.

The dismissed lady, @deeglam_varieties, detailed what happened and advised Nigerians travelling abroad to keep their attitude of expressing apologies back home.

In a TikTok video, @deeglam_varieties said that she worked a night shift and spent her time in the office lounge pressing her phone to avoid falling asleep.

The next day, her boss accused her of sleeping on the job, which startled her. Instead of telling her boss the truth, @deeglam_varieties apologised repeatedly before going home.

The following day, she received an email informing her that she had been sacked. For her, the development came as a cultural shock.
