Popular social media personality VeryDarkMan has stirred political conversations online after making claims about former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s alleged 2027 presidential ambition.
In a statement shared online, the activist alleged that Jonathan’s reported political comeback is being backed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
“Goodluck Ebele Jonathan 2027 presidential ambition is presently being sponsored by President Tinubu’s government,” he said.
The claim quickly generated reactions from Nigerians on X, formerly Twitter, with many users sharing different opinions on the allegation.
Reacting to the statement, a user identified as Teslim questioned whether the activist was speaking facts or making assumptions.
“@grok is he saying the truth or assumption,” the user wrote.
Another user, Eden, appeared convinced by the allegation, saying:
“It’s so clear!!! I can’t believe he is betraying our struggle.”
