The Delta State Police Command has provided a fresh update on the controversial killing of 28-year-old musician, Mene Ogidi, popularly known as Oghenemine Ogidi or OG Millan.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, disclosed that the deceased’s body is still at the mortuary as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Recall that the incident occurred on April 26, 2026, in Effurun, Delta State, after the musician was reportedly apprehended by transport union members at Benin Motor Park along the Warri-Sapele Expressway while attempting to collect a waybill parcel.
Providing an update via social media, Edafe stated that the case is being treated as a suspected murder and that due process must be followed.
“However, it’s a case of suspected murder, so autopsy is compulsory and the family also agreed to this,” he said.
The development comes amid public outcry and demands for justice, as Nigerians continue to seek clarity on the circumstances leading to the young artist’s death.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing, with the autopsy expected to provide further insight into the cause of death.

In a strongly worded statement, the actress described the situation as unacceptable, highlighting the condition of passengers, including elderly individuals, who were left without adequate support.
“Passengers (including elderly people) have been stranded since 6:30AM at London Gatwick Airport with no proper communication,” she said.
According to her, passengers were informed of a bird strike after several hours of waiting, with assurances that accommodation would be provided. However, she claimed that many were still left unattended.
“After hours of delay, we were told there was a bird strike and promised a hotel. Hours later, people are still sitting at baggage claim hungry, exhausted, and without their bags,” she added.
She further urged the airline to take immediate action: “Release passengers’ luggage immediately and provide the hotel you promised. Do something NOW.”
