The video, which trended across social media platforms, captured the moment MC Mbakara and his wife briefly met the veteran actor in an elevator. In the clip, Jim Iyke exchanged a quick handshake and greeting before moving on, as he appeared to be in a rush.

Following the encounter, Mbakara had expressed dissatisfaction, implying that the actor’s demeanour came across as unfriendly during their brief interaction. He has now, however, apologized after the backlash that followed his remarks.

He said:

“What will it take for him to smile? It’s annoying. Celebrities always feeling like they are God or something.”

In another post, he added:

“I Stumbled On Jim Iyke And This Happened. I Love Him Regardless.”
