Former BBNaija housemate Tochi has sparked reactions on social media after sharing his thoughts on modern marriages and relationships.

The reality TV personality stated that marriages in today’s generation should involve agreements that protect both partners in case things fall apart.

According to him, relationships no longer have the same level of commitment and endurance that existed in the past, which is why he believes contractual marriages may be necessary.

Sharing his opinion, Tochi said, “I honestly think marriages of this century should come with a contract, if one person breaks it, they should pay a penalty and the other person should be free to walk away.”

He also compared the current generation to older couples, noting that people today are less patient and less willing to endure challenges in marriage.

“People of this generation don’t have the same level of tolerance, patience, and endurance our mothers and fathers had. We are too woke,” he added.

His statement has since generated conversations online, with many people debating whether modern marriages need stricter agreements and clearer expectations between partners.

In other news… Model and thrift vendor known as Fems Thrift has reportedly broken down in court while recounting a prolonged legal battle over an alleged s3xu@! assault case involving a man she says attacked her and her friend during a fake modelling job invitation in Lagos.

In an emotional statement, she told the court she felt abandoned by the justice system after months of hearings, alleging that the suspect used violence and intimidation during the incident and later blackmailed them with private content taken from their phones.

“I don’t deserve this. We went to work and this guy assaulted us and threatened to kill us with a knife. He collected our nude photos/videos from our phones and blackmailed us with it. The police have all the evidence, yet they want to let him walk free, saying there’s no case.”

She further alleged that despite presenting evidence in court, including medical reports and other materials, the case has dragged on since February without resolution.

“The guy that assaulted me and my friend is about to walk free because the police are now saying there’s not much evidence against him. We have been going to court since February till date. We presented all the evidence, including the knife and doctor’s report. But the police are trying to use the court to drop the case and release him because of money.”

The case, which reportedly stems from an alleged fake modelling shoot in the Ajao Estate area of Lagos, has continued to generate public attention, with many online expressing concern over delays in prosecution and allegations of interference.
