BBNaija season 5 ex-housemate, Rebecca Nengi Hampson has taken to social media to express her utmost displeasure as she disclosed how flood has ravaged things in some places in Nigeria most especially her state, Bayelsa.

In the video shared via her verified Instagram page mentioned about how lives has been lost as well as how thousands of properties have been displaced.

Nengi who is the SSA to Bayelsa State governor said that the flood in Bayelsa State has destroyed Hospitals, schools, Lands, houses and others thereby making life difficult for the people of her state as she added that the same thing is currently happening to others states in Nigeria.

Nengi added that the flood brings surge in the prices of foods and other needs of the people of Bayelsa noting that getting all those needs have also been made difficult due to fact that the flood has restricted movement of the people.

The reality TV star, however appeal to the well meaningful Nigerians to be of help and contribute to save lives of the people.

Also, Nengi seeks for other states and federal government urgent intervention as the people of Bayelsa going through difficult moment.

Nengi wrote; “The flood in Bayelsa State has destroyed Hospitals, Schools, Lands, Houses and other key infrastructure in the state. Thousands of people are struggling to live as the flood has displaced them.

I want to appeal to everyone to raise awareness and give (no matter how little) to the people of Bayelsa. I will also like to appeal to the State and Federal Government for their urgent intervention as the people need all the support.
