Nigerian super eagle player, Ademola Lookman has created history yesterday’s evening as he secured Atalanta’s inaugural European triumph, the UEFA Europa League, with a remarkable hat-trick.

He became the first player to score three goals in the final of this prestigious competition.

In addition, the 26-year-old Super Eagles striker put an end to Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten streak of 51 games.

Following the final whistle, Lookman was awarded the Man of the Match title, and his entire team celebrated his outstanding performance. Lookman opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a skillfully executed goal.

He then extended his team’s lead in the 26th minute, before delivering an unstoppable shot in the 75th minute.

Despite Leverkusen’s attempts to turn the tide by introducing Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella in the second half, it proved to be too little, too late as the Bundesliga champions were thoroughly outplayed by the dominant Italians.
