Davido’s concert at Michael Okpara Square in Enugu on Saturday night descended into chaos as fans complained of overcrowding, harassment, and poor security.

The show, part of the singer’s ongoing 5ive Tour, drew far more people than the 20,000-capacity venue could hold. Witnesses said the gates were broken and that many without tickets forced their way in.

Several attendees took to social media to recount their ordeals, alleging theft, harassment, and a lack of crowd control. One fan said touts entered without tickets and stole from concertgoers, while another claimed women were groped as people struggled for space.

Fans also expressed frustration that Davido did not perform until around 3 a.m., nearly 12 hours after the scheduled start time.

Videos and testimonies from the chaotic event have since gone viral, prompting widespread criticism of the organisers for poor planning and inadequate security.
