Chris Brown Eulogizes Tems

Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems has shared her ‘prison’ experience.

Recounting her past experiences in a post on social media, the ‘Try Me’ crooner said she will someday narrate what prison is like after losing her office job three years ago.

Tems in her post noted that she’s still trying to find stability from the past events.

Tems wrote: “Sometimes you just have to recognize that balance is needed. There will be a time when I’ll talk about everything that has happened, is happening.

“What prison felt like, everything from the moment I quit my office job 3 years ago. But for now, I’m just finding that balance.”

GISTLOVER reports that Tems was born in Lagos, Nigeria to a Nigerian mother and British father.

Her family moved to the United Kingdom shortly after birth. Tems parents had parted ways when she was five, and relocated to Ilupeju, before moving to Lekki, then Ajah.

Her music journey began at school after she was noticed by her music teacher and subsequently she learnt the piano and would practice with her brother’s guitar accompaniment.
