A Nigerian man based abroad has shared a surprising account of how a woman in Denmark allegedly changed his life after he found himself homeless.
In a video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the man claimed the woman approached him, offered him accommodation, and began supporting him financially on a weekly basis when he had no place to stay.
According to him, the assistance came without conditions, as she reportedly continued to help him even after learning about his marital status and children in Nigeria.
In his words:
“I was homeless until a woman asked me out in Denmark, gave me a place to stay and gave me money every week.”
He further explained that the woman did not withdraw her support after he disclosed that he had a wife and children back home. Instead, he said she remained kind and even extended her generosity to his family in Nigeria.
“Even after I told her I had a wife and children in Nigeria, she didn’t mind. She even sent them money too,” he added.
The video has since triggered widespread reactions online, with social media users divided over the story. While some questioned its credibility, others described it as an example of the different social and relationship dynamics experienced abroad.
One user commented, “This is why some people say abroad is another world entirely.” Another wrote, “Chai, Naija girls left the group chat 😂.”
