Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has revealed a personal rule she follows in romantic relationships, saying she deliberately avoids discussing financial matters with her partner.
The actress explained that she does not disclose her income to anyone she is dating and also has no interest in knowing how much her partner earns.
Nancy shared this during a recent appearance on the Thanks For Coming podcast, where she spoke about her views on privacy in relationships.
According to the Blood Sisters star, money is a sensitive subject she chooses to keep off-limits, regardless of who she is in a relationship with.
“I never discuss three things: my money, my money, my money. Tell a man how much I earn? Never, for what,” she said.
She further noted that her stance is mutual just as she does not want her partner asking about her earnings, she also prefers not to know his financial details.
“And I don’t want him to discuss his with me either. I don’t want to know how much he is earning,” she added.
Nancy also touched on trust and privacy when it comes to phones, saying she has no problem if a partner checks her device, but she personally would not do the same.
“I have no problem with him going through my phone, but for what? I would never ask to check my man’s phone,” she said.
