Senator Abba Moro’s Son Dies a Day After Grandson’s Burial

The family of Senate Minority Leader, Senator Patrick Abba Moro, has been thrown into mourning following the heartbreaking loss of his son and grandson within just two days.

According to reports by DAILY POST, the Senator’s son, Victor Moro, had only recently returned to Nigeria after completing his studies in Turkey and was preparing to begin his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.

Tragically, Victor lost his life in a fatal car accident along the Mararaba axis in Nasarawa State, barely 24 hours after the burial of his nephew — Senator Moro’s grandson.

Sources revealed that Victor was travelling from the family residence to attend to personal matters when the accident occurred.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, the comedian reflected on the pain and sacrifices of Nigerian youths who lost their lives, jobs, families, and dreams in the fight against police brutality.

He wrote:

“Nigerian youths lost their lives, jobs, families, and dreams at the hands of the most corrupt and evil people we call leaders! Even though some of us are deeply in love with our oppressors, this day 20/10/2020 is never to be forgotten nor forgiven!”

Accompanied by a powerful photo from the 2020 protests and the song “Unknown Soldier” by Fela Kuti, his post reignited memories of the nationwide demonstrations that demanded an end to police brutality and bad governance.
