According to Yusuf Gagdi, the chairman of the House of Reps Ad hoc Committee looking into Job racketeering in MDAs, the committee has not brought any Evidence against Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.

In addition, he stated that, in contrast to rumors, no federal government entity has been charged.

At the committee’s resumed hearing on Saturday in Abuja, he said this.

Gagdi claimed that all of the agencies that appeared before the committee had engaged with it actively.

He argued that it was incorrect to imply that the committee had indicted the JAMB registrar when it was still performing its duty.

According to rumors, the committee indicted the JAMB registrar for hiring over 300 people without posting any job openings.

He argued that the committee could not be said to have indicted any agency for any misconduct until it had completed its task and issued a report to the house.

“This committee has not indicted the registrar of JAMB and we have not indicted any institution. You can only say that after we submit our report.

“We had a very good interaction with him and nobody should preempt the decision of this committee to say that somebody is faulty.”
