  • A man has sparked reactions online after lamenting over an alleged ₦1.5 million monthly electricity bill in a luxury estate area in Lekki, Lagos.
  • Despite the massive cost, reports claim residents still struggle with unstable electricity supply and rely on generators and backup systems.

Residents online have reacted after a man lamented over an alleged ₦1.5 million monthly electricity bill in the upscale Lagoon District area of Lekki, despite continued complaints about unstable power supply.

According to reports shared online, the luxury apartments operate under Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) Band A tariff, which promises around 20 hours of electricity daily at ₦209.50 per kilowatt-hour.
