Nigerian singer and reality TV personality Whitemoney has revealed a surprising message he received from his grandmother concerning former presidential candidate Peter Obi.

According to the entertainer, his grandmother who is an admirer of the politician contacted him after watching a video of Peter Obi circulating online. She mistakenly believed Whitemoney had a personal relationship with the politician and decided to reach out through him.

He explained that she first sent him a WhatsApp video clip of Peter Obi and later followed it up with a voice note expressing her concerns.

In the voice message, the elderly woman questioned why the former presidential candidate appears to move around without heavy security, despite his high public status and visibility.

He stated:

“My grandmother happens to be a big supporter of almost everyone’s favourite presidential candidate. She sent me this video on WhatsApp thinking I know him personally, asking me, ‘Why is Mr Peter Obi exposing himself like this in public? Does he think he’s the only humble person? He needs to protect himself. He’s the only hope we have.’”
