I Am In Presidential Race to Transform Nigeria: Peter Obi

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, is receiving backlash on social media for his response on what he would do to restore electricity in Nigeria.

The Arise TV presenter has insisted that this is one of the reasons why the Labour Party candidate needs to present a manifesto and put all his plans on paper for people to see and assess.

But Peter Obi went around to reveal how his children at home don’t trust him at home and insisted on putting his words on tape to remind him of his word whenever the need arises.

The former governor of Anambra later said, “there are 70,000 tractors in Punjab.

Sharing the video of Peter Obi’s interview on her Twitter page, Dannie said:

How can they ask you “what’s your plan for electricity”? and you go about rambling about how your children do not trust you when you make promises? You eventually & shamelessly end up with “there are 70,000 tractors in Punjab” What is the correlation, pls????

In a related news a video making the rounds showing what Gregory Oseloka Obi, son of presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi does for a living has gone viral on social media.

This comes after the spokesman of the All Progressive Congress, (APC) Festus Keyamo (SAN) had challenged Peter Obi to urge his son, Oseloka to organize a campaign march in Awka, Anambra state.

Keyamo made this call in a tweet on Saturday while reacting to a video of a campaign march organized by the son the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu.

He wrote, “Lagos Walk organized by @STinubu in a well-organised Lagos State. “This is an open challenge to Peter Obi to allow his son hold a similar walk in Awka, Anambra State, where he governed for 8 years within the next one week, especially on a Monday, or throw in the towel!”

After Keyamo issued the challenge, Twitter users dug up a clip of what Peter Obi’s son, Oseloka does for a living, adding that he has no time participating in such challenges.

In the clip, Oseloka, apparently, a Hollywood actor, was pictured acting in the movie, titled Avenue 5.

The clip has garnered a lot of reactions from Nigerians on social media who commend the politician’s son for being independent and pursuing his dreams and not basking in the euphoria of his father’s wealth.
