In response to the late Nigerian singer Mohbad’s recent claims about the existence of a will, the singer’s management team is allegedly suing the singer’s father.

In a TVC interview, the father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, stated that his 26-year-old son had left behind a thumbprint-only will that was not signed.

In response to these charges, Mohbad’s management acted quickly, refuting the allegations and characterizing the purported will as unprecedented and unreal in an official statement.

Due to recent will claims, Mohbad’s management is requesting an apology and N200 million in damages.

Now that Mohbad’s father is the target of legal action by the management team, the situation has become more serious.

Mohbad’s management is purportedly suing the singer’s father for defamation of character, according to a legal document issued by their legal representation.

In the letter, they demand that Mohbad’s father retract what they call his “slanderous” remarks and provide a public apology.

Furthermore, the administration is requesting N200 million in damages be paid out.
