A social media user has come under heavy fire after reacting to a viral video shared by controversial activist and influencer Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM).
In the video, VDM voiced his concerns over Peter Obi’s involvement in the newly formed ADC coalition, warning that the former presidential candidate should tread carefully if he hopes to succeed in the 2027 general elections.
Reacting to the video, the man argued that Nigerians are fed up with the current administration under President Tinubu, and the formation of the ADC coalition was seen as a strategic way to unseat him. He labeled VDM a mere “content creator” and threatened consequences if the activist continued to criticize the coalition.
He went further to accuse VDM’s supporters of being “cowards,” claiming that their allegiance to the activist was undermining Obi’s chances. He even suggested that VDM might be secretly aligned with Tinubu’s camp, claiming the same tactics were used to remove Goodluck Jonathan from power in 2015.

This triggered sharp reactions from netizens, many of whom rushed to VDM’s defense. One user, @lhil_jeck, commented:

VDM without sentiment said his mind…we need better Nigeria and we love Peter Obi to be the president Yes!!!. We are considering ADC because Obi is there.
