“If I die, you killed me” — Argument between late Mohbad and wife resurfaces (Video) An alleged audio conversation between Mohbad, the late young musician, and his wife, Omowunmi, during a heated fight has resurfaced. Following the unfortunate death of the talented artist, several theories about the circumstances surrounding his death have emerged. Many have accused his former label head, Naira Marley, of being involved in the singer's demise. As many people investigate the cause of his death, a video of Mohbad and his wife, with whom he had been in a relationship for over a decade, emerges on the internet. Mohbad accused his wife of plotting to hurt him in the audio clip, warning her that she would be held guilty if anything happened to him. He chastised her for pretending to be sick in order to obtain information from his WhatsApp device, which he assumed she meant to exploit after his death. The former Marlian artist described an instance in which he did not want to wear a specific piece of clothing, but his wife insisted on his wearing it in what he considered as an attempt on his life. He promised that his family would take action against her, emphasizing that she had not treated him with respect and had resorted to using insulting language towards him. In his words; “If I die today you killed me My life is fucked up I’m saying this in advance My life is fucked up Ever since the NDLEA shii My Health is bad My tummy is folded up I do complain all the time I will tell the whole world 0o You should leave me alone when you stopped feeling me Why did you fuck my Now you pretending You will pay for this Only if there’s no GOD You put me to shame You acting smart! You said you never loved me But why did you stay in my life for 8 years Don’t worry Don’t reply me 000…”

Mishael Emmanuel Bassey, a Nigerian, has lambasted those who have condemned the request for a DNA test on late musician Mohbad’s kid, Liam Light.

Mishael demanded that Mohbad’s widow, Omowunmi, be questioned as well, and that a DNA test be used to confirm their son’s paternity.

Sharing a video of the musician and his wife arguing before he died, he said, “For everyone here saying the dude has no right to demand a DNA test…. That’s okay..” But do you have the right to dispute a father’s decision on how to bury his son?”

“You’re saying the wife mourning, and shouldn’t be questioned, but you’re okay with his father being questioned right ???”

“You’re saying Mohbad didn’t deny the child Koz there’s no evidence (you weren’t even there to know if he had doubts or issues about it) but you’re all after the head of Nairamarley like you’ve got evidence he killed him…”

“For those of you who want to come for my head, you should note that I’m not supporting anyone. But if you who isn’t a family member of Mohbad is seeking for justice for him, then asking for a DNA test shouldn’t be a problem as it’s part of the justice route…”

“There is at least a recording of Mohbad having issues with the wife, and if you say it’s normal, you should also know that it’s normal for men to get into fights (as with the case of nairamarley and his right hand man)…”

“If you all really want justice, then you should leave sentiments and emotions aside. Everyone should be questioned and every proof be given (including proof of paternity)…”

“As far as I know, Mohbad’s issue is now a “National issue” and asking questions isn’t just limited to family members alone… Peace”.
