A Nigerian matchmaker has alleged that a promising relationship that was reportedly heading toward marriage ended due to social media comments linked to ongoing conversations about singer Chike and media personality Frank Edoho.

In a viral video, the matchmaker claimed he was responsible for connecting the couple on TikTok, explaining that the man is based in the United States while the woman resides in Nigeria.

He further stated that the relationship allegedly broke down after the man came across online comments made by the woman, where she was said to have defended Chike and jokingly suggested she could cheat if her partner continued to hold grudges against her.

According to him, the man had been financially supportive throughout the relationship, reportedly covering her rent and contributing to her mother’s medical expenses.

The matchmaker expressed disappointment that what he described as careless social media remarks may have played a role in ending what he believed was a serious relationship.
