“Please Love Yourself Enough To Do You” Chi Chi Shares Cryptic Note amid Claims of Deji Being Gay

Following their argument on the current reunion episode, former Big Brother Naija “Level Up” housemate Deji Morafa has apologized sincerely to his love interest.

Chichi had previously revealed in secret how Deji had seduced her and convinced her of his devotion, but she later changed her story for the public.

She claimed Deji took use of her past to convince her that she was to blame for every disagreement they had, making her doubt her sanity and even think about getting counseling.

Deji hours ago made a u-turn after initially denying all the claims she laid against him and stating that he already told her he was not interested in a relationship.

He issued an official statement on the microblogging site Twitter, apologizing for his conduct and harsh remarks.

Deji claimed that he did not mean to lead Chichi on and that it was his fault for not making it clear during the show that he was not interested in a committed relationship. After the show, he said, they tried to make things work but were unable. He stated:

“In light of the recent episode of the reunion that was just aired, I realize some of my shortcomings and I will start by tendering my heartfelt apology to you, Chichi.

I acknowledge that I failed to clearly express my lack of interest in pursuing a serious relationship with you during the show and I take full responsibility for it. After the show, we made an effort to work things out, but unfortunately, we discovered that there was no chemistry between us to sustain a romantic relationship, amongst other reasons.

In the midst of the misunderstandings, I genuinely cared for you and showed that in the best possible way I could. I know some things might have come off hurtful along the way but that was never my intention.
Although some statements were said about me that are untrue. However, I understand that we cannot control how people react in certain situations.

In a nutshell, I am sorry; my intention was never to lead you on or to disrespect you in anyway.”
