Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about her current outlook on marriage, revealing that she has emotionally stepped away from the idea, even though she still hopes to have a daughter in the future.
Speaking during a livestream with TikTok personality Jarvis, the actress reflected on motherhood, family, and her personal feelings about relationships.
Regina disclosed that she has not seen her children since last year but remains optimistic that they will reunite soon. She also shared that, due to personal reasons, she no longer envisions herself getting married again.
Despite this, she expressed a strong desire to have a baby girl, saying she believes the experience of raising a daughter offers a deeper connection to motherhood.
According to her, having a female child brings a different and more profound understanding of being a mother.
She said in part:
“The last time I saw my children was last year.
I know one day, I’ll see them again, very soon.
But for some reason I have checked my mind out of getting married but I’m yet to have a girl and I must have a girl child. I feel like you’d understand motherhood better when you have a girl child.”
It would be recalled that in October last year, she reportedly parted ways with her husband, Ned Nwoko, following a public disagreement.
