Nigerian music executive Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has revealed who he believes is the most outstanding and well-rounded artist in the country’s music scene.

The Mavin Records founder made the statement during an appearance on the Crea8torium podcast, where he spoke highly of alternative singer Johnny Drille, applauding his exceptional talent and creative range.

Don Jazzy described Johnny Drille as a unique figure in the Nigerian music industry, stressing that he possesses a rare combination of skills that sets him apart from his peers.

He noted that the singer is not only a gifted vocalist and songwriter but also handles the production and mixing of his own music, making him an all-in-one creative force.

“In the Nigerian music industry right now, there is nobody like Johnny Drille. He is in a world of his own. He is like the best musician the complete musician that I know. He is versatile. He mixes, writes, sings. He does everything,” he said.
