- Bewaji clapped back at a troll who mocked her for giving birth on the same day her husband lost a boxing match.
- Her response has sparked reactions online, with many defending her against the insensitive comment.

Bewaji, the wife of controversial Nigerian singer Portable, has responded strongly to a troll who mocked her following the birth of her third child.
The new mother had earlier taken to Instagram to announce the arrival of her baby boy, Temilorun, marking a joyful moment for her family.
However, shortly after the announcement, a social media user reportedly sent her a message ridiculing the timing of the birth, linking it to her husband’s recent boxing defeat.
The troll wrote: “You go born the day them beat your husband… congratulations.”
Reacting to the message, Bewaji did not hold back as she fired back with a blunt response.
“Why are you now crying? Go and question God mumu,” she replied.
The exchange has since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians condemning the troll’s comment as insensitive while others praised Bewaji for standing her ground.
The incident comes after Portable was defeated in a celebrity boxing match by skitmaker Carter Efe in Lagos. Following the match, Carter Efe reportedly received a ₦50 million reward from businessman E-Money, alongside other perks.
Despite the controversy surrounding the boxing match, Bewaji’s response has shifted attention back to her family’s celebration, as she embraces motherhood once again.
