Former President Of Zambia Kenneth Kaunda Is Dead

According to Zambian news platform Kaunda who ruled the country for 27 years from 1964 during which time he maintained domestic stability in a comparatively benign manner while providing bases for the movements struggling against his far more powerful white neighbors in Rhodesia and South Africa before it gained independence from Britain.

This is coming days after he was admitted to Maina Soko military hospital in the capital Lusaka, where he was treated for pneumonia from Monday.

Kenneth Kaunda who happens to one of the first generation of post-independence African leaders dies at age 97,he ruled his country through a perilous era in southern Africa,he will never be forgotten rest in peace great man.
