Don’t wait till your deathbed to tell people how you feel – Basketmouth weighs in on Mohbad autopsy results date

Nigerian stand-up comedian Bright Okpocha, also known as Basketmouth, has expressed his thoughts on the delayed autopsy results of late Afrobeat singer Mohbad.

The most current update on Mohbad’s autopsy was released on Thursday, March 21, with the ex-Marlian signee’s post-mortem examination results likely to be finalized within three to four weeks. Which comes six months after his body was exhumed for autopsy.

Basketmouth, known for his remarkable funny skits, took to Instagram to upload a post with the late singer’s official autopsy results date, hinting that the pathological examination was handled carelessly.

According to the article, autopsy results are expected within six to twelve weeks, as opposed to Mohbad’s death, which took months.

According to the article, “Autopsy results: A preliminary report is available within the first few days, but the full results of the autopsy are not usually available until around six to 12 weeks later.”

He wrote, “Don’t wait till your deathbed to tell people how you feel. Tell them to fu*k off now.”

It is no longer news that Mohbad died on Tuesday, September 12, generating speculation that he died unnaturally.

Because of the uproar surrounding his death, the Lagos state government ordered a coroner’s inquest. The inquest began on October 13, 2023, at the Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court.
