Victor Okafor Uchenna, also known as Mr Real, a Nigerian singer, has revealed that he turned down Davido’s offer to fund the video shoot for his hit song, ‘Legbegbe.’

During an episode of the Terms and Conditions podcast, he explained that he turned down the offer because his colleague, Idowest, fabricated stories about him for Davido’s DMW crew.

The artist stated that he was looking for funds to shoot the video and that he would not have normally turned down the offer if it had not been for what he discovered about Idowest.

Mr Real said: “This guy, Idowest, had gone to 30BG and said things that I didn’t say. Do you know how I found out? When I was looking for funds to shoot ‘Legbegbe’ video, Idowest and Obadice came and told me that Davido wanted to shoot the video for us.

“But I said I don’t want anyone to shoot the video for me. And the reason why was because I had already seen the green snake and everything thing he was doing.

“On a norm, how can I reject Davido’s offer to shoot my video? But as a soji guy, me I realised that they want to run me street already; una wan come complete am with the video thing, wey be say na only one scene I go show.”
