Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Hospital has denied claims that a viral video circulating on social media showing a woman screaming during a cosmetic procedure was recorded at its facility.

The hospital has been facing public scrutiny following the reported death of Jessica Elena, who allegedly died after complications related to a cosmetic procedure.

In a statement posted on its Instagram page, @cynosureaestheticsng, the hospital said it was aware of the disturbing video trending online but insisted that the footage was not recorded at its clinic.

According to the management, although the hospital had earlier confirmed performing reconstructive surgery on Elena, it has no knowledge of where the procedure shown in the viral video took place.

The hospital also expressed concern about the continued circulation of the clip, noting that it was causing additional distress to the deceased’s grieving family.

Management urged members of the public to handle the matter with compassion and sensitivity.

Cynosure further extended its condolences to Elena’s family and said it is ready to cooperate with authorities if an investigation is conducted to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The hospital added that it hopes such an investigation will help establish the facts and clear its name amid the ongoing controversy.
