“I Put My GLE in Sport Mode and Vanished” – BLord Recounts Alleged Kidnap Attempt, Says Gunmen Shot at His Car

Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as BLord, has alleged that he narrowly escaped a kidnap attempt involving himself and members of his family.

In a video circulating on social media, the businessman recounted how the incident allegedly occurred while he was driving his son to school.

According to BLord, the incident happened at about 7 a.m., with his son and his wife’s elder sister also inside the vehicle.

He claimed that a blue Toyota Corolla suddenly blocked his path before four armed men emerged from the vehicle and opened fire on his car.

“I was taking my son to school around 7 a.m. in the morning. I got a blue Corolla double-cross my car, four guys with guns came out and shot my tyre.”

BLord further alleged that he managed to escape by putting his vehicle into sport mode and speeding away before the assailants could catch him.

“They chased me because my GLE, I put it on sport mode, I vanished, their Corolla couldn’t keep up.”

He added:

“My son and my wife’s elder sister, we were three in the car.”

The alleged incident has generated mixed reactions on social media. While many users expressed relief that BLord and his family were unharmed, others questioned aspects of his account.
