Nigerian singer Portable has claimed that Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy allegedly paid him N20 million to confront Speed Darlington during their public fallout.

In a video circulating online, Portable stated that the payment was tied to a supposed boxing encounter involving Speed Darlington, insisting he was compensated after carrying out the task.

“The last time Speed Darlington and Burna Boy had issues, he paid me N20 million to beat him in a boxing match. I did it and he paid me,” Portable said.

He further narrated the incident in a mix of English and Pidgin, claiming he supported Burna Boy during the dispute.

“The time wey Burna Boy and Speed Darlington get issue, wey Speed Darlington dey insult Burna Boy, na me help Burna Boy beat am,” he added.

According to him, Burna Boy only fulfilled the alleged agreement after he “won” the confrontation.

“He promise me N20 million, and he give me. Burna Boy no just invite me like that if I no win, he no go give me the money. I win, na why I collect the N20 million,” Portable said.

Portable also maintained that he would have publicly called out Burna Boy if the payment had not been made.

“If he promise me money and he no give me, I go call am out. Na God say make I no call Burna Boy out, na why he come give me,” he added.

In a related remark, Portable made a similar offer to Wizkid, suggesting he could confront comedian Carter Efe for a fee.

“Now Wizkid should pay me N20 million so I can finish Carter Efe for him,” he said.
