According to him, he had just collected the lady’s phone number the previous day. However, less than 24 hours later, she reached out with a request that caught him off guard.

In his words:

“I collected a girl’s number yesterday and this morning she’s already asking me to send her 1,000 naira to buy noodles. It’s not even up to 24 hours.”

His statement has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many users debating expectations, boundaries, and financial requests at the early stage of relationships.

According to reports circulating online, the victims were invited to a hotel within the upscale estate for what they believed was a legitimate recruitment exercise.
