Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has made a heartfelt appeal to her supporters following her recent public disagreement with fellow actress Funke Akindele.
The issue began at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere on Sunday, March 29. During the event, a viral video showed Toyin greeting Funke with a slight bow as a sign of respect, but Funke appeared to ignore her. Mercy Aigbe was also seen seated nearby in the clip.
The moment reportedly left Toyin feeling embarrassed, prompting her to unfollow Funke on Instagram and declare that she would no longer greet her. In response, Funke also unfollowed Toyin, further fueling the situation.
However, on April 1, veteran actress Madam Saje shared a video on Instagram, revealing that she had stepped in to mediate between both parties and that the issue had been resolved.
Despite the reported reconciliation, Toyin chose to speak directly to her fans, urging them to stay focused and united. She also expressed deep appreciation for their continued support.
The actress went on to announce that her latest project, Love Between Two Altars, is set to premiere on Tuesday, April 7, on her YouTube channel, Toyin Abraham TV.
She concluded by reaffirming her love for her loyal fanbase, popularly known as ToyinTitans, while making a sincere and humble request to them.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote:
“Hi my lovely fans, Love Between Two Altars will start showing on Tuesday, 7th of April on Toyin Abraham TV on YouTube.
Also, to my lovely ToyinTitans, I love you, I appreciate you, and God will bless you all.
Please, I beg you, let’s focus! Pls I’m on my kneels🙏.”
