Nollywood actress and filmmaker Iyabo Ojo is gearing up for a return to the big screen with a new movie titled The Return of Arinzo.
The project, which began production last year, follows the success of her 2025 cinema release, Labake Olododo. On Monday, January 19, Iyabo Ojo shared a video online unveiling the cast of the forthcoming film.
The movie boasts an impressive lineup of Nollywood stars, including Funke Akindele, Scarlet Gomez, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Uzor Arukwe, Muka Ray, Priscilla Ojo, Bimbo Akintola, and Mercy Aigbe.
A major talking point from the cast reveal was the inclusion of Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, both of whom are set to make their Nollywood debut in the film.
Reports indicate that The Return of Arinzo is a multinational collaboration involving Nigeria, Ghana, and Tanzania. In addition to Iyabo Ojo, popular nightlife entrepreneur Soso Soberekon and Abazee Productions were also announced as part of the production team.
A video showing the cast of Iyabo Ojo’s new movie has since surfaced online.
