Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has advised Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to move to the English Premier League as soon as possible, warning that he may regret it if he waits too long.
Speaking on Lagos Talks, Oliseh said Osimhen is at a “very delicate crossroad” in his career and needs to make the right move. He praised the striker’s achievements in Italy but stressed that the Premier League would push him to a higher level.
“If he wants to stay in the spotlight and grow as a player, he must go to the Premier League now,” Oliseh said.
Oliseh’s comments come amid ongoing speculation surrounding Osimhen’s future, with strong links to English clubs such as Chelsea and Arsenal. While the striker signed a contract extension with Napoli in 2023, many believe the current transfer window could be the turning point for his long-anticipated move to England.
The Napoli star has been linked with top English clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal. Oliseh believes a move to England will help him improve and stay relevant globally.
Fans are now waiting to see if Osimhen will make the switch or remain in Italy.
