Nigerians drummed support for of iconic singer, Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known as D’banj.
The singer is currently trending on Twitter as he is been heavily criticised for his role on Nigerian Idol reality show.
A critic had queried the organisers of the show for wrongfully casting him as a judge.
Underestimating him, he stated that if D’banj can be a judge on the show, it means anyone can literally apply for any role they desire.
He added that no one can be more unqualified than D’banj to take up any role.
The tweet reads, “If D’banj can be a judge on Nigerian idols, then you can apply for any role you so desire. Apply for that role. You cannot be more unqualified than D’banj”.
Following his tweets, many jumped into his comment section to defend D’banj.
Majority affirmed that D’banj is unarguably one of the best live performer in Nigeria.
