Bolaji Odojukan, better known as BOJ, a Nigerian Alte musician, has remarked about the type of person international superstar Wizkid is.
He stated that no matter how close someone believes they are to the Ojuelegba crooner, he has the ability to act unexpectedly towards them.
BOJ mentioned this during a discussion on the F&S Uncensored podcast while recalling how they collaborated on a song.
In 2022, he collaborated with Wizkid on a remix of his hit single ‘Awolowo,’ which was released in 2019.
According to the member of DRB Lasgidi, he got a call from Darkovibes, one of the people he featured on the original song. He said Darko told him that he was in the studio with Machala and the ‘Joro’ crooner wanted to be on the remix.
BOJ said he sent the raw file to him and two days later he saw a social media notification in the middle of the night and it was a mention from Wizkid.
He said it was a huge surprise to him because they were not following each other on Instagram even though they had a cordial relationship.
The singer noted that when he saw the Wiz notification, he was overwhelmed and dropped his phone in disbelief.
BOJ said; “No matter how close you think you are to Wizkid, he can jonze you. How can I get a call in the middle of the night that Wizkid wants to jump on Awolowo.
I had it on my phone so I sent it to Darkovibes and two days later in the middle of the night and I just saw Wizkid mention. I dropped my phone.”
