Nigerian man identified as @tunjitweet has narrated how a lady sent him a bill of N37k after he offered to pay for her lunch.
The man complained bitterly about the lady’s sense of entitlement after trying to show a kind gesture to her.
He revealed that the lady went ahead to order tons of food she couldn’t finish totalling up to a whooping amount of N37,000.
He tweeted:
“Someone asked me for lunch this noon, I said choose your meal and send the bill. she went to just jollof page to pick 5L rice of 35k and delivery 2k and sent me 37k bill.
‘why are buying 5litres cooler of rice?’. her response was ‘if you can’t afford it, just say so’. Even if gluttony is following you from family house, is that why you want to eat 5 liters of rice on someone else’s bill?”
