“Avoid marrying the breadwinner in any family” – Nigerian lady warns women

A Nigerian man has gone ahead with marriage plans with his fiancée after finding out that they are both AS genotype.

The man revealed that he and his fiancée had fasted and prayed for 1 month on instruction of their pastor so as they could get married together.

During their prayer, he revealed that they decreed against having SS children and God promised them AA children on the last day of their fast.

The young Nigerian man made it known that the only stumbling block in their path to getting marriage is their parents who would not approve of the union.

He shared his experience on the micro-blogging platform as a user stated the pre-medical tests for intending couples.

In response, he wrote, “I am AS ,and she is AS. We fasted for one month on the instructions of my great Papa in the lord. We cried and decreed against SS children, and on the last day God promises us AA children.”

“Now, my problem is that family is against us. But God is all we should have.”

Social media users expressed their thoughts as they took to his comment section. Some reactions are shown below:

@jxt_ema said, “Truth is, you might have a child with the AA genotype but you might also have a child with the SS genotype. However, it’s a scary gamble that would be incredibly selfish to make. Sometimes we hear what we want. Please don’t do this to yourself, your partner and future children.”

@dadyroc said, “I only pity the innocent ones you want to bring forth. Don’t be selfish, if it happens eventually a its a promise, you would regret the decision. Imagine a SS child in crises asking the parents “why did you marry nd allow this happen to me”. Think deep about this, don’t test God”.
