A Nigerian couple displays the number of products purchased at the minimum hourly wage in the United Kingdom from a British store.

The couple announced this on TikTok using the wife’s account, @the.pretty.oreo, where they detailed how they spent the money.

According to them, the minimum hourly wage in the United Kingdom is £10, but in Nigeria it is around N15,000.

They shared the products they purchased for the price of an hour’s wage in the country while sharing their market runs.

The pair was able to purchase a pack of onions, a bag of chips, a pack of chicken thighs, chocolates, a pizza, surface cleaner, and other products.

Many internet users are left shocked at the quantity of items the money got them.
