VeryDarkMan Helps Police Rescue Baby Allegedly Stolen at Birth and Sold for ₦4.5 Million

Popular activist and social media personality VeryDarkMan has shared details of how a baby allegedly stolen at birth was rescued following a police investigation involving the Special Tactical Squad (STS).

According to VeryDarkMan, the child’s mother approached his office on April 25, 2026, claiming that her baby had been stolen at birth by her aunt and later sold.

He explained that after hearing her story, he immediately took the matter to the STS Police Station in Guzape, Abuja, where the case was presented to the Commander of STS, ACP Victor.

“The mother of the baby came to my office on the 25th of April 2026. After she explained everything to me, I took her straight to STS Police Station in Guzape,” he said.

VeryDarkMan further revealed that the police acted swiftly after a petition was reportedly approved by the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of the Force Intelligence Department.

According to him, operatives moved to Imo State on April 26 and arrested the first suspect, who later confessed during interrogation.

“After few days she disclosed it was a lawyer that paid for the baby the sum of ₦4.5 million total,” he stated.

Following the confession, STS officers reportedly traveled to Lagos State, where they arrested the lawyer allegedly linked to the transaction and successfully rescued the child.

The suspects were later brought back to Abuja, while authorities prepared for the formal handover of the baby to the biological mother.

The development has generated reactions online, with many Nigerians praising the efforts of the police and VeryDarkMan in handling the case.
