Nigerians on the gram have gone berserk after a photo from the books of the US State Department Consular discourages travelers and tourists from vising the because it is a dangerous and violent country.
The photo which was shared by popular instagram blogger @GossipMillNaija describes Nigeria as a “No Go Area” as it could be the last of the a person should anyone make a trip to the the country. A section of the book reads;
“Reconsider travel to Nigeria due to crime, terrorism, civil unrest, kidnapping, and maritime crime, which includes kidnappings, hijackings, boardings, theft, etc. Some areas have increased risk”
It goes on to list some states and the criminals activities they are known for. eg, Borno and Yobe States and Northern Adamawa State due are specislly known for terrorism while Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, and Yobe states due are known for kidnapping.
The revelation has caused a massive unrest where some agreed to the description given whilst others objected to it..
