She added that to stop people from fighting and destroying properties in the bank, she wasn’t going to open the gate for anyone.
According to her, they were already given prior notice that there wouldn’t be any cash available in the bank.
In her words:
“I don’t have cash anywhere and we are not obliged to pay you the old money. So instead of us fighting I want to beg us because as at this moment. They have told us that yesterday no bank will supply money.
“Even for those withdrawing now after a while we won’t see to give again. For now in my Branch we don’t have and I’m not even opening to anybody whether you want to transfer or you want to collect ATM or you want to open account.
“That is the reason why I am not opening the door because people will begin to fight and destroy things.”
