Evang Ebenezer Obey, also known as Chief Commander, is a legendary juju vocalist and musical genius. He turns 81 today, April 3, 2023.

President-elect Tinubu asks Nigerians for prayers and thanksgiving to mark his 71st birthday

President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has asked Nigerians to use the occasion of his 71st birthday for “special prayers and thanksgiving” to be held on Wednesday, March 29, instead of the yearly birthday colloquium.

The special prayers will be held in Lagos and in other parts of the country.

A statement from his office on Monday indicated that for the main event in Lagos special prayers will be offered at the Central Mosque in each of the five divisions in the state including the Central Mosque, Alausa, Ikeja

During the prayer sessions, special prayers will be offered for the peace, unity, and progress of Nigeria.

Also to receive prayers among others are President Muhammadu Buhari and First Lady Aisha Buhari, President-elect Tinubu and his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Vice President-elect Senator Kashim Shettima and Hajia Nana Shettima, Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu, other state governors as well as members of National and State Houses of Assembly.

Award-winning musician Davido, who is preparing for the release of his new record, has barged into the residence of business magnate Tony Elumelu.

In recordings going viral online, the father of three could be seen at the billionaire’s mansion in good spirits. As he stood for pictures alongside the billionaire and his daughter, Davido was all smiles.

In order to surprise his daughter Gigi, who turned 21 on Wednesday, Davido reportedly paid a surprise call to the billionaire’s residence.

As he disclosed that he spoke with Davido about his new record, the UBA CEO shared images and videos of the singer’s visit.
