Tiwa Savage: Twitter Influencer Omotara Akanni demands N5M from Instablog9ja over defamation and libelous publication

Influencer Omotara Akanni is suing Instablog9ja for libel and defamation.

Omotara Akanni Lawrence, a prominent Twitter user, has sued renowned blogger Instablog9ja for N5 million for claimed online libel and slander.

Recall how Tiwa Savage stirred up social media on May 30th, 2023, when she posted a romantic photo of herself with a mystery man on a Brazilian beach.

Influencer Omotora, however, advises individuals to quit posting pictures of their partners on social media, saying that it is needless, in a lengthy message on her verified Twitter account.

She tweeted; “Flaunting your partner on social media is really not necessary. Why do people need to see who you are dating, married to, sneaky link and all that? Letting the public know what they do for you is not it. The effect of flaunting your partner…

Reacting to this, Instablogja misinterpreted what she said to satisfy their narration as they linked it up with Tiwa Savage’s post.

The headline by the blog reads; “Flaunting your partner on social media is really not necessary,” Media Personality Omotara tells singer Tiwa Savage, others.”

However, Omotara Akanni who has received several harassment following the Instablogja post that went viral fined the media outlet over malicious and libelous publications through her legal team.

Her lawyers demand retraction for defamatory and libelous publication, then further demand reasonable compensation to the tune of N5million.
