- An APC spokesperson has reacted to alleged defections of key figures to the ADC, expressing frustration and suggesting the ruling party will respond. The statement has sparked reactions online.

A spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has sparked reactions following comments on the recent political shifts involving key figures.
In a statement that has circulated online, the APC spokesman expressed frustration over the movement of prominent politicians to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
“The ADC took El-Rufai from us, they took Rotimi Ameachi from us, they took Malami from us and you want us (APC) not to put sand in their garri?” he said.
The remark appears to reference former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai, former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi, and former Attorney-General of the Federation Abubakar Malami.
The statement reflects rising tensions between political parties amid shifting alliances and speculations ahead of future elections.
